The Windrunner, with it’s 26 degree chevron, has been a Nike classic since it was first designed in 1978. To celebrate this icon Nikelab collaborated with Stone Island and Japanese fashion brand Sacai to produce a set of limited edition jackets.

Utilising the chevron as a split-screen device we shot the six Stone Island jackets and remixed with VFX metaphors to reference the material innovation.

To capture the fur on the two Sacai jackets we shot them at high speed with a shallow depth of field and extreme close ups, using the chevron to echo the two-colour design of the collection.

The films were part of the ‘Year of the Windrunner’ campaign, released online across and Nike social channels.
